I never thought that I would pray
that someone else
would wish to die...

But know you all on this morning?
I pray--the beast wants suicide.

But Serene one...that would ruin the ecstacy from the one that wants to blow this coward to bits?....Perhaps he'll try suicide, it won't completely kill him,,then we can save him and then slowly hang him?...It is a pleasant thought that his rifle mis-fires next time and blinds him?

Brief and emotionally filled
To wish a subhuman killed.

I must say I don’t believe Mr. Toerag has the proper disposition
To do the job properly.
I would gladly volunteer and lend my perversity to meet the crime,
I’d write it in a poem
But I’m sure it would be deleted quickly.

Karen, I don't like to feel "hate" either. But as Brian said so well above...the sick, perverted, subhuman sniper  ASKED  us to feel this way. That's all I'll say on here, too, in fear of getting deleted.

The beast is as blank to me
as if this window were left
word-less

my prayer goes
to the victims
their families
where prayers
rightly belong

Amen, Soleil Noir.... I didn't need the second post either to know to whom you refered, Serenity. We all just want the killing to cease and yes let us all scream JUSTICE!!!! for the victims of this hateful senseless crime.  A friend of mine is vacationing in the area as this is written.  I pray for her and her family too.

Sherry

I know it's wrong to be glad I don't live there ... I'm embarrassed to say I am glad though. Last week I had to commission someone to go to Springfield, VA to do a report for me. I told him if he had ANY reservations about it, that I would understand and find someone else (he's in Nashville - I have a contact in VA but he's a wienie and I don't like his work ethic). He was ok with it - life goes on, he said. So now I'm nervous...this is so unthinkable. Someone who kills for money like this?? Give him 10 million and he'll stop? I say nope. I say stop giving him air time on TV. Do a complete blackout of information. Don't report new incidents..don't stand watch when they do the 'dragnet'...don't give him his 15 minutes of fame.

Sharon? I understand.

I felt the same as I prayed for Hurricane Lili to just go somewhere else...

thus my title...

a perverse prayer...

this is just heartwrenching.

Karen I have to agree with this.  Every day for the past few weeks my domestic companion has had to work within moments drive of these horrific crimes..........and I pray.  Thank you for posting this.  Hugs to you.

oh..and Sharon? one more thing about Hurricane Lili? because of that twinge of conscience regarding my selfish prayer, I changed my prayer to just make the damned storm go away--

"Rain rain go away..."

there's magick in childhood.

Karen, I do think that Sharon is right....if the insane sniper would quit getting so much media attention, he just might possibly quit trying to get attention from killing all these innocent victims.

well...this may be one for the discussion forum.

But someone willing to slaughter children?

I have to believe such a beast is probably trying to get our attention...

and?

He's got it.

and now I thank you all...I'm gonna leave this topic be...thanks for listening to me vent.

It is like living in a war.  Running to my vehcicle every morning, afraid to death that if I slow down I will be shot.  Almost like a wild animal.  It is scary folks.
