Colour Me Scarlet There are those who wear innocence always Who never succumb to sin’s persuasive ways There are others who don’t always slip But on occasion will sometimes trip More rarely still there are those like me Who can’t be innocent at all clearly Whenever there’s temptation I am there Life’s opportunity to sin is so unfair It’s not that I don’t know what is right It’s simply I can’t see sin’s warning light I can’t resist the urge to do something wrong I know well the melody of sin’s siren song When trouble beckons I’m there tout suite But its only certain sins I hasten to meet I’m not as black as the dark of night Just a little too keen to taste sin’s delight Just because I simply can’t say no There’s no reason to assume to sin I will go I don’t offer harm in my rather devilish way Nor do I give pain I’m happy to say Imagine, if you will, that I was always good Silly isn’t it I can’t be only as I should I lean towards trouble because that’s what I am I’m not Snow White more a scarlet woman This isn’t an excuse, just the truth of me Truly my friend I’m simply flighty Marsha Breathe through the heat of our desire |

Mushy, you weren't too flighty when you flew half way round the world to meet in Tampa, in fact the way I heard it you, weren't flighty at all unless your feet were nailed to the ground to hold you down and not out of fear. its a bit full of what i almost saw as inside jokes. thats cool - understand, but it leaves most feeling left out. great title though - that is what got me to read it. i am so new i don't know any of the "personalities"  on the boards. |

 (sigh) Oh Marsha, I think there's a little bit of that vermillon in all of us, just as we all have an imp that hides in all our back pockets! (big hugggssssss) Though I believe everyone has a dark side, you have so much light and love to share and you are a delightful friend to us all, and it never hurts to have just a pinch of the original sin, this is wonderful, we all love you so much!
