Cherub! Cherub! She's scrubbing pots and pans.
Eyes gleam in creams of blackberry pie,
Blue milk streaming over your chin and hand;

"From kin to Holy Cow.. i let you lie"
Swift cakes cut wet, corners lap. Downier
For a Sunday ballgame hello--bye--bye.

The sweetest heart for laughter-- 'dearest me'
She writes supreme while frolicking with bibs
Inside; warm willow wood, baskets of tea.

A better will to wish than mind to mend,
we fancy--free ourselves in sounds to touch.
New ways of Light break open vividly--
ashamed of hopes, toted back to the couch.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
