“I’LL SHARE WITH YOU” by Bill Charles ~~~~ Darkness came, I looked, and I asked why, heard the wind whistling through the trees, shadows in the graveyard, lights flickering, these sounds, perhaps abnormalities… Behind the tombstone someone moving, scared the you know whazz it out of me, geez, I made the wrong turn this night, I was shaking uncontrolled, and sincerely… Noises from here, there, everywhere, lost my watch, it must be midnight, out in the middle of the graveyard, dang, trapped, wonder if they have an appetite… Then above the sound of the night winds, could that be music, blues I’m hearing, ghoul dancing they be, sweet beslippered, well not now tonight, I’m not abandoning… So I rubbed mud stuff all over my face, I really had my dancing shoes on this time, u’gggg, I grabbed a ghoulmiss, started juking, why honey, I’d bounce with you anytime... Now one has to realize or something like that, what’s the moral of this goings on here, dang if I know, but I’ll share with you, come and join us, heck there’s balladeer… ~~~~ |
