Between the Lines

In My Heart

Held are those moments, unseen as the whole
of the bits, the temptation, when alone, feeling cold.
Where my hurts are the judgements, inspirations' unfold.
As your eyes let me go, into shadows I stroll.

Heavy I am, holding tears that need flow.
Turning time over, in hands wanting know
of the path laid before me, in the wake of the moon,
I am burdened with heartache that embraces too soon.

Those in-between years have gathered the pain
I wear as my cloak, never trusting again.
If I'm loved in tomorrow, the depth you would see
that part I have hidden, the inner of me.

In my heart, I am holding, a shadowless soul,
muting my efforts, leaving me with a hole.
No more words to be voided, no thoughts, yours to view.
We are strangers just passing beneath the moon, blue.

And those thoughts always naked, my words, yours each day,
As your eyes let me go, I now fade from your stay.

Little Mo darling heart, you know there is within your words such an ache, such a regret of shadows and you shade it so delicately and deepen the pain so skilfully. Wonderful writing darling heart, absolutely wonderful, you know I utterly utterly love this.

Love and warm stuff
As always

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

Maureen,
the ache of your slake is breathtakingly awesome.
