Beautiful Hands? smooth clean well-shaped nails wrinkle-free flesh undaunted by labor or injury *** gnarled weathered wrinkled nicked by happenstance soiled by slaving in the care of another tainted with blood through caring beyond oneself *** calm undiscernible from youthful, inexperienced hands *** trembling, enveloping, encapsulating hands that guide with tenderness caress with loving-ness do you know Beautiful Hands? ©October 22, 2002 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, I'll seek the lighthouse evermore. yes I do.... I love the comparison and contrast here...and indeed sometimes beauty IS in the imperfections. Nice work Virginia! |
