Shades of Green

Today I walk in shades of green
The inner eye of dreamer’s scene
A field of flowers walled by tree
A wile of yield I have decree.

I’ve left the present for the past
A mental trip that I have cast
Into a world of phantoms fold
A place that waits when growing old

A place of ever-present youth
Rooted in realities truth.
That keeps us in a field of play
A field of gone and yesterday.

Here I dream of love and lace
Of roses, wine and hearts embrace.
Of energies beyond my cope
It’s here that I in truth elope.

It’s here I see the flying dove
It’s here I still make ardent love.

Very fine and that 4th stanza's my favorite!

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Good morning, Mr. T.!

My library is once again going to be graced with your words. I do not believe these thoughts could be expressed any better than you have just done.

~ May your memories keep you warm ~

Seymour darling man this is as always truly exquisite writing and I love it utterly

In dreams you wander lands afar
Ride the dragon’s back to reach the star
Touch the hope of dreamer’s mist
Feather the wind with hero’s kiss
Drape your soul with this thought
That heaven such as this is bought
So close your eyes and fly free
On the wings of dreamer’s fantasy
While you gather the stars soft light
Sprinkle your soul with moonlight
And in your heart you’ll always be
On dragon’s back flying free
Then let me share your starlit flight
Within the realms of dreamers sight

I love this one darling heart, it is as smooth as silk which slips over my mind like a cloak of wonder. Truly you are excellent and I love it utterly

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire
