All Australians stand united
In this time of unspeakable grief
Images beyond our comprehension
We all look on in disbelief

I am so proud to be Australian
As we all join hands and pray
We won't forget the lives we lost
On that sad and painful day

Through sheer loyalty and strength
We stand together as one
For we refuse to be defeated
After all that has been done

As sure as the sun keeps setting
Out across the wide blue sea
We will never give up our quest
For our country to remain free

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

Now that's the fighting spirit!! Sue, I heard there was an explosion in Melbourne today and several people were killed. The report said the authorities did not know yet if it was connected to the bombing in Bali or not. I sure hope not.

This is a lovely tribute to the strength of Australians and the will to keep your freedom.

Hugs, Marti

Sue darling heart sister, this has to be one of your utter utter best, when the flow is as smooth as water over glass, when the phrasing is as delicately meshed into the whole as to make the mind sigh, when the touch of the words falls in a soul with a velvet touch, then I know I’ve read something special. This fulfils the promise of beauty that is offered by your name, when I see your name I know its quality. THIS is simply superb writing, and I love it utterly utterly utterly. Stunning image superb writing it had to bear YOUR name.

Your writing give us all the touch of hope, we shall never forget, and we shall prevail

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

Sue:  What a stirring poem! You should send this to your local paper, or TV station. Other people need to read it besides those of us who enjoy your work regularly. A wonderful write! you should be proud of yourself, as well as your country!

Sue,
May I stand with you? Awesome write and response to a horrible tragedy. You have my prayers and sympathy. Courage to you all.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
