Mountain of wind,
stones looming cloudward,
frostlining snow.

Fleured among crowns,
evergreening tops,
hushed scent of cold.

White senseless prints,
thickening ice pines.
Sound is a ghost.

Smoke spectre's breath.
Living lips issue
flowers of chill.

Mike, as soon as I saw the title, "Snow Walk", I bundled myself up with my scarf, gloves and down-filled ski jacket. You always portray anything that you write about so vividly, that I thought I'd better prepare myself for this walk in the snow---and I'm glad I did!

I was actually there---feeling, seeing, experiencing....

Mikey - thankyou for this wonderfully chilly piece of work. Chris

Thanks, I was gleefully able to take a walk as a child again.
