Rainbow's End

In the pouring rain with numbing pain
Tears flooding from these eyes of mine;

In darkness now, I remembered how
In happier times the sun did shine.

Mournful sobbing, temples throbbing,
Anguished cries choked from my lips;

Crystal cracking, heartache wracking
Utter hopelessness into darkness slips;

But this too shall pass, the storm won’t last
The clouds will part with golden rays;

The rain does cease, my pain released
A Rainbows end... on a cloudless day.

Poetry is:
Passion, imagination and intellect running together.

Aloha with warmest regards, Cheryl Stewart Koomoa

Cheryl, this is so beautiful. I've sometimes wondered if what's at the end of the rainbow is what people say. It looks like you've found the answer, sweet Cheryl. Thanks for sharing your heart.

Love To All,
Ethel

Cher,
The rain I've known
and the tears I've shed
have often matched
what my heart has bled

But the clouds do part
and the sun does shine
at the rainbows end
peace has become mine

How I do know the pain described in this poem. But pain is only endurable where there is hope. A perfect poem you have penned. Bless you and may you always have courage and peace.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Cher, I could kiss you!---for two reasons! One is for helping to heal the pain you've experienced, the other one is in appreciation of the joyous and uplifting  ending you wrote!

You wrote a rainbow of emotions which ended with a brilliant array of hopeful rays!

~ May all your clouds be replaced with rainbows! ~
