Days dripping like honey from silvered spoon
Lonesome cry from sun dusked loon
Silence of time standing still with calm
Comforting as cheek, held with loving palm

Breeze to face with whispered song
Fingers of mist bringing a time far gone
Stirs from depths more felt than seen
Visions of pasts that tell what mean

Comfort to know there is no past
Only the times that surely last
Sounds to hear when there is no noise
The laughter of children with their toys

Mirrored look goes far beyond
In the time of greater bond
The sound of rain does bring a smile
To memory whirl of long-a-go while

In the silence of great beyond
To shake the stalk of magic wand
For there is no alone where memories take
Listen close for dear hearts sake

Beyond closed lids there is a place
Where the sun shines down on upturned face
Or the moon will shine its silvery tune
When the days drip like honey from silvered spoon

Dear Logan

Sometimes the words of a poem feel like they belong in my heart, this is one of those times.

Oh Logan!  Welcome Home!
You have been missed terribly...
please say you'll stay awhile..
We'll bring sticks for the fire and you can talk to us,
tell us stories and of legends...please?
This was oh so beautiful...and very very true.
~Soft smiles and gentle hugs, Leigh girl~

This was absolutely lovely.
It went down like honey.

We've not heard the stick shake
nor felt the flames of the firewood
for some time, our friend...

Welcome home.

Logan
it seems we share similiar ideas and differing ways of expressing them today. I really liked this.
