You could hear the delicate giggles,
As they gathered ‘round outside,
Rosy cheeks and mittens,
Imagination their guide;
Warmly dressed in the softest fleece,
As they did their jobs this day,
With little wings gently swaying,
Their task seemed more like play.
Oh how they loved this winter chore,
Taking so much pride in their work,
Making sure no two were alike ~
Was the job of a wee one called Turk;
These little cherubs were busy,
Not making one mistake,
Smiling the sweetest little smiles,
As they carved each crystalline flake;
Sculptures of pure white glistening,
Seemed feathers from their wings,
Slowly drifting toward the earth,
Softly blown by a cherub who sings;
Dancing down the hillsides,
Pirouetting into to each dale,
Dressing the mighty pines in white,
These handmade flakes ~ so frail;
Yet strong enough to bring laughter,
To the children down below,
Who will make a perfect snowman,
And sweet angels in the snow.

(giggles in delight) Awwwwwww, this is soooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, I love children so much and I always see them as Gods little angels! (kiss on cheek) I love the snow so much and just the thought of hearing a little boys laughter riding a sled or a little girls smile from making snow angels brings tears to my eyes! May love and light always shine upon you!

I did. I read it again today, and I cannot help but comment once more, how much I enjoy this poem. It is so descriptive, I now believe cherubs to be real!

thanking you,
warmly,
Pat
