I love to hear the sound of rushing streams;
To sit by calming waters of clear glass.
And heavenly scents of flowers fill my dreams
In tranquil meditation, time does pass

The green and grassy hills call after me
I’m drawn in time to places far away
Amongst the verdant ferns I’d rather be
I wish I were a bird then I could stay.

The cloudless sky, a lovely shade of blue
And darkened woods impaled by streams of light;
Enchanting woodland creatures live here too
And what is hidden now, revealed in night.

The hours do pass away, the clock does chime,
I’ll have to come again some other time.

Poetry is:
Passion, imagination and intellect running together.

Aloha with warmest regards, Cheryl Stewart Koomoa

Cher,
And again and again. I'm with you...it's hard to leave. Nice write.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

The scenes you portrayed were so calming and peaceful---like an oasis in a desert or a port in the storm. I found myself becoming more relaxed as I read on and I absorbed the essences of the scenes you were portraying with your descriptive words.

Thank you! I needed that!

(sigh) This is soooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, one of my favorite places ever to go up to is Hanging Lake near Glenwood Springs in Colorado, it almost looks like a storybook or fairy tale place to me and I just love going there all the time and yearn to so much to return! (kiss on cheek) This is brilliant, sweet friend, yay, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Cheryl, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Cheryl,
this poem was very soothing and I was almost beguiled in believing pass should be spelled with one "s". Very well written

The beauty of many things in life, something so many of us take for granted.
Thank you for taking me back to nature!
