somebody's dungeon

It is always tragic circumstance
this constant diatribal dance,
that escapes into the phone
whenever you are calling home.

No pleasantries or anecdote
instead depression you denote
I grow tired of the dark converse
and daily it is getting worse.

I wish for time across the wire
spent with you in lax retire.
Thoughts about our love perhaps,
could we talk on this perchance?

Call with dreams in your heart
share visions, all the sights impart,
but please no more harass of mind
a distant touch that's most unkind.

I want the treasure of your words
softly, gently, to be heard.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Anne, I know just how you feel, I too am in a long-distance relationship with my sweet Joanna and I always long to hear her words of love as I always share them to her from my heart! (sigh) This is heartfelt, sweet friend, I wish you great hope and love to come your way, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Anne, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

seems that change should be made, some way, somehow, on one's part...or on both. You cannot go on tired like this. I feel the wear on your heart here Anne.

Noah, thank you for reading and responding. It's tough to carry on a relationship when two people are together, let alone miles and miles apart.

Dixie, my dearest friend, I do grow weary. But am a creature of habit now. I'm not sure I have the heart for change anymore. Thanks for reading and for always being so kind in your response.

Yes, dear Anne, I understand completely the difficulty that you and your love are having being miles apart. Just like me and my Gary. But, after reading so much of these subjects of love in different circumstaces, I've  FINALLY decided to chase away those doubts and fears that keep coming back to me. I'm going to do my best to give him the trust that he so willingly has given me all these years. Good luck with your relationship.

Love To All,
Ethel....garysgirl

WhiteRose,

Good subject. It takes work to stay on a positive level. Good poem, hope it gets the message across to the one it was written for!
