somebody's dungeon

It's just another..

Look away, reflect on sight
of autumn, so deep of color
bloom of repose.

more harsh words to deflect
no, ingest, digest..

Turn away, lost in thought
pictures in mind now play
display, for a moment of pause.

I'm getting good at this
as the words get louder still..

Instead, caress of time
now past, gentle images of love,
caring laced around the edge.

I don't feel the pain anymore..

WhiteRose

Very nice! Love the 'caring laced' line, exquisite!

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

What a unique and special little poem with  progressive positive energy! Also enjoyed your commentary---it was as if you were reading to me!
