Compounded Interest Weather, being faithful to the season, insinuated into the terminal, canceling flights, and dropping purses and back packs until each of the various gates resembled a campground occupied by a den of some sort though not necessarily cub scouts. The bulk of women, dressed in jeans and slacks, draped their legs over the arms of lounge seats, adopting attitudes that forecasted identical though polar opposite mindsets, i.e. complacency and innocence. Business types were the exception. Wearing suits, most of a length to accentuate modesty by affording a hard, close look at it, they crossed their legs carefully and panted for comfort. This was superbly done! You've described what what the airport is like when flights have been cancelled due to inclement weather. This was so descriptive--I felt like I was there!---actually, I think I was! Earth Angel |

Bob A canceled flight is no fun...but twice? I'm sorry. You described the airport scene accurately...I've seen it that way a few times myself. As always, I enjoy your poetry and would like to see you here more. |
