I just want to know what you guys think...the submissions havent been up so I came here. Its a very personal poem that took a long time to get down on paper.

The Simple Truth

I wish that it is easy
to say you're no longer in my heart
I wish that I am happy
cause now I can freshly start

To go for other people
To go out and just explore
But no matter what I try to do
You're still there like before

So I make myself false promises
You wont be there anymore

Just drown "it" out with strangers
and some other things in mind
Try to forget the happy moments
and the love you left behind

But who is it that I'm fooling
with these thought inside my head
I cannot deny the simple truths
my heart shows to me instead

That only God can put this all away
cause I can't do the job
That I have to just accept this Fact...
You're the only one I love

(big hugggsssssss) This is such a touching and heartfelt debut, sweet friend, I know how you feel for I have been feeling the exact same way lately because I love my sweetheart so much and am scared she may not love me anymore, my heart goes out to you and wishes for new love to find a way to your heart and always shine! Joedreamer, I think that your poem is very good, even though it's so sad. Love poems which are so heartfelt are my favorite kinds of poetry. WELCOME to Passions in Poetry. I'm sure that you will like it here, just as I have. This is indeed a very sad poem, but a very good one as well. The best poems in my opinion are the hardest to write, cause they usually are so personal. Welcome to Passions. I hope you love it here as much as we all do.
