Intensive Care Meeting you was such A work of fate Who would think I’d find the love Of my life At this late date? And here we were; Both savagely torn … Life’s ragings and storm Suddenly……. Our hearts again warm We talked for hours… Remember? Right through Waikiki showers I just didn’t notice Did you? Yes! Cupid had his way The arrow shot with care And a year later We are stronger than ever Nothing can separate us Except us……… or God…. And now begging to plead My heart in earnest prayer, bleed That God answer prayers To my plea and sends you Safe and healed right back home to me The hours seem like eternity…. But I know you are wrapped in love Intensive care from high above… Poetry is: Passion, imagination and intellect running together. Tahks to all of you for your loving comments and prayers. My loved one is in the hospital with blood clots on his lungs and his heart is also taking a beating...I am so much in love with him. After a 25 year abusive marriage ended last year,I met this wonderful man.I pray he heals and comes home soon. thanks for caring fellow poets Cher Poetry is: |
