Once I had a small green frog
who thought he was a puppy dog,
He scratched for fleas,
and wet on trees,
He'd sit and beg,
bite a postman's leg,
go fetch a stick,
give me a lick.
The other frogs were green with envy,
Until my frog chased down a chevy,
He'd been taken in by canine seduction,
It was the road to my poor frog's destruction,
(for now you see he was the road,
as he the center-line now bestrode)
My frog who thought he was a poodle,
now was flatter than a Ramen noodle,
No more hunting and chewing a bone,
My frog's done gone and I'm alone,
Farewell my friend, my dear frog Rover,
and now alas, my tale is over.

So much for ranidophobia.

Tim, I am so sorry to hear of your pet doggyfrog's untimely, and highly undignified, demise.

I feel somewhat guilty for breaking into hysterical gales of laughter at this tragic story. Forgive me, please. But then again, why should I feel so guilty---you made me do it with your witty, imaginative tale!

P.S. I cannot find the word "ranidophobia" in my dictionary. Did you make it up as you did this story? haha

~ I love your style of writing---all of them! ~

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Tim, I hope this is not related to a real loss of yours, sweet friend, this is a powerful limerick that ties into many others, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Tim, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

A most refreshing piece...enjoyed the humor.

Live like it's your last day...
Dance like nobody's watching...
Love like you've never been hurt...
