Near walk this line
Lapsing into weave
If with eyes closed
I twirl my thoughts
Trying to remember
Child like the things
Inside once
Once upon a time

Straight narrow pointed
One-way only they say
Far walking dreadful
Fall but not able
To forget the lines
Drawn

We wait
Line lapsing again
Across years of No
Months of why
To ask is there room
On imaginary connections
Stringing two points together
For more than teetering
Balance
Arms outstretched
Like once
Once upon a time

Spin me sky
Till dizzy am I
And child inside
Can cry

a little take on my longings of childhood:

I want cool breezes
and fingertips
tracing circles
of goosebumps
on my back
in mindless repetition...
Warm, soft lips,
baptizing me
like summer rain
falling
on a sweaty, wondrous child--
eyes shut tight, arms spread wide,
dancing in circles,
dizzy with life...

Ron

To free the child sometimes takes a spin around.  I could feel his tears in this emotive poem.

I have become rather 'undizzy', too somber, and un-free, my muse doesn't like it much, she has grown too quiet, but I fear falling, will you catch my hand if I start spinning?

great poem

Ron, you so often spin my thoughts so that they can make no sense of it, that's how you started this poem, for me, but you ended it with a clarity that helped me fully feel the sense of sorrow, of crying for release of sadness to weep out and save you from its pain and pressure.

Well done, as usual!!!
