stars twinkle, owls swoop
leaves rustle, breezes sweep in
mice scamper neath glades

Thanks, you three, you are very sweet and a good morning to you, too! This is the first stanza of what I'm hoping to be a series of three haiku about nature at night. So far, no new stanzas have come though, so I thought I'd go ahead and post this one.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
