I took a bath four months ago,
or was it five, I tend, forget?
I even used a bar of soap,
seems like I got a tad bit wet.

I like the smell of natural.
Deodorants, I will not use,
nor will I put on men’s cologne.
I have to tell you, I refuse.

Lately, something’s bothering me.
Seems, visits from my friends are less.
I can’t imagine what I’ve done.
They’re all just busy, is my guess.

I lean over to pet my cat,
she cops an attitude, takes off.
She runs and hides beneath the bed.
I could’ve sworn I heard her cough.

My wife moved out of our bedroom,
said, “Keep your natural to you”.
I’m only being who I am.
What is a man supposed to do?

And suddenly, I’m losing hair,
by handfuls and I don’t know why.
Don’t want to lose my sex appeal,
for I know I would surely cry.

Tonight I’ll take another bath.
A quick one though, conserve the soap.
I miss my friends not coming ‘round,
but even so, I’ll somehow cope.

Auguste ~

Now, if you truly were a stinky sort, I don't think you'd be writing about it---so I'll take this tongue-in-cheek!

At least I hope you're just being witty!--otherwise, my image of you being a soapy sweet guy who wears alluring cologne, just went out the window! tee-hee

And more humor from you. Not sure which I like best this or the
...Dinner Table...one.

Oh, guess I like them both a lot.
Thanks for the laughter.

Sounds like my first husband. When he ran out of deoderant he splashed Canoe under his arms. Yuk, not a pleasant odor at all.

This was cute and silly. Perfect

They said he had a smell,
That surely would repel.
It will make you retreat,
If you smell his feet.
He just stinks over all,
Makes your eyes a waterfall.
You'd think he'd figure it out,
For that odor follows him all about.
But no, just give him space,
No wonder the walls are blue in this place.
