Within my angry protestations,
...lays a plea of desperation,
Screaming out unto the night,
...searching, seeking of the light,
Countless signs to guide the way,
...so many paths from which to stray,
Knowing not if day is done,
...in shadows of a dying sun,
I walk alone as I traverse,
...upon stone walk, to seek asperse,
Footsteps lead in paths unbending,
...twisting, curving trails unending,
Unbroken silence of the night,
...waveless, tideless Luna's light,
Brooding over all living things,
...hushing even cicada's wings,
In echo of night's silent spasm,
...I walk alone into night's chasm.

With your poetry, you offer so much variety to the reader. This of course, is not one of your soft, gentle, feel good ones---but it is riveting and powerful!
