I need a quick vacation--
comforting as fresh baked bread.
a pillow of soft place to land
inside of seymour's head.

There, the world is magical.
Butterflies fly free.
There I do not have to fight
to find serenity.

Gentle, as a whispered wind.
A warm hug from a long lost friend.
Coffee, steaming in the cold...
Within dark cave, a glint of gold.

I wish that I could wander here,
and view the world through his eyes.
It's cozy as a Hobbit's home--
inside of seymour's mind.

With each of his poems we do get to wander there daily. And we do get to view the world through his eyes, his heart and his soul. He gives us such gifts!
This is well done. Thank you. It is
a great idea and a nice tribute.

Warm hugs to you,
Pat

Serenity,
I would surender my mind to you if I had one. But all that's there is phantoms and fantasies. And these you are welcome to.
I feel your breeze each time you tease.
If you did anymore I would wheeze.

chuckling

Now you have brought to mind a story...

My former physician was quite elderly, and rather deaf, and VERY grumpy. Most of his patients were afraid of him, but I LOVED messing with his head. Since I was always having to repeat myself when he asked me a question...the following conversation ensued:

"Are you still smoking?"

"Yes."

"Are you still smoking?"

"YES."

"How much do you smoke daily?"

"oh..'bout a pack a day."

"No, I asked HOW MUCH DO YOU SMOKE?" (He was yelling now--as though it was ME that couldn't hear.)

"A PACK A DAY." I hollered back, resisting the urge to scream into his stethoscope."

Finally...

"Do you wheeze?"

"NO---MY NAME IS NOT LOUISE."

Methinks he would have forgotten the Hyppocratic Oath long enough to strangle me!

and sy? I only hope I bring half as many smiles to your face as you do to mine!

Ah yes...what a wonderful place that would be.

It doesn't get much more cozy than that.
Loving that reference, my friend.
