Little Toe was in the garden
Digging a hole so deep,
Balladeer peered over the fence
Just to take a peek.

"Toe" he said, "What are you doing?
Digging that great big hole?"
Toe replied through tears of sadness,
"Burying my goldfish Joe."

Balladeer said, "That's too bad,
But you don't need a hole like that?"
Toe replied as he finished his task,
"But he's inside of what's left of your cat!"

Oh tsk! To think I was on my way out the door and decided to read one more poem, what a great choice for me. Your humor is the best way for me to start my day. Thanks ever so much for keeping me laughing.

Warmly,
Pat

Sweet little Toe
I'd like you to know
No need for the hole

It was just a bad dream
Mike's cat's in the cream
And your fish swims in stream

Toe, I burst out laughing when I read this. I think the banter that goes on between you and Balladeer is hysterical. You two are a piece of work.

Have you guys ever met?

Hugs, Marti

Well told, Toe.  It's clear you chose the right person to victimize.  He's had it coming for a long, long time.

And did you say the benediction. "In the name of the Father, the Son and down the hole he goes."
Good one Toe.

(giggles in delight) Oh my gosh, now tell me it was really a dream or pinch me, I bet Balladeer would be laughing then pausing in a gasp at the end! LOL! This is funny, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Toerag, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I've got a new cat, Toerag bum.
He wants to say hello.
Why don't you come and sit a spell
He's really cute, you know?

A goldfish is a stupid pet
Which suits you perfectly
So drop on by and meet my kitty
He's waiting, hungrily.

'Deer, I've been waiting for your reply...and it was worth the wait...
You two are priceless!
