Languid days
long past longing,
far into new desire.
Sailing upon the seas
of my heart...let out
your sails, let the wind
carry you to places
never seen before.
Keep the remembrance
of languid days, idle hours
when we met heart to heart.
Before we set sail together
for our new destination
away from the shores of love.

Always remembering languid days
long gone...past daliances.
And, most of all, remembering
when our hearts rested
~~~~only in each other.
For some reason this made me think of Iseult and Tristram - do you know that old tale??
Ivy, I could feel myself floating along on the ocean in a sailboat. I loved the imagery that came through from this. Nice job.
Hugs, Marti
You have some wonderful memories to keep you warm even through any of life's chilling drafts that may come your way from time to time.
Beautifully written.
(sigh) This is sooooooo beautifully bittersweet and had me feeling like I was sailing along too on a yachy, yay! (kiss on cheek) Always cherish those special memories and despite the cold winds that may come may many more happy days always fill your heart eternally, this is delightful, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ivy, thank you for sharing!
May love and light always shine upon you!
Love,
Oh the days long forgotten. Sometimes we forget the best days of life just because nothing exciting happens in them. The best days are always the lazy days spent with friends and family. Enjoyed bunches.
