Missing You

Today becomes yesterday
as words still echo in my mind
Another day of hoping
happiness… wanting to find

Angry words spoken by you
words that have shattered my heart
My mind echo’s your words loudly
praying today they depart

A life of heartache and pain
how long will this silence last
Accused…no time to explain
only memories from the past

So close you and I once were
now we never speak at all
Nothing left but loneliness
no more talks…you never call

Albums of memories closed
visions forever remain
I thank God each day for you
as I ask him to ease our pain

No one was to blame it seems
words spoken in anger then
Relationship torn apart
your words echo in mind again

Will we share special times again
like we shared from days gone by
Will our hearts smile once again
or forever ask God “Why”

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Paul, this deeply touched my heart reading it, I hope this doesn't relate to your current feelings as I am sure with a golden heart like yours so many fruitful memories of love will fill you eternally! (sigh) This is sensitively heartfelt, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Paul, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon nyou!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Paul...I was really touched by this poem.  Maybe, it's because my life has been touched by such pain in the recent past.  This poem was beautifully written and beautiful in its expression of love still lingering.

Paul,

I can feel your pain in my own way. I have a friend that is an ex, that I have tried to contact, but he has not responded to ICQ's or e mails in several months. I am trying to figure out why the friendship seems to have disappeared all of a sudden. Thanks for sharing your heart.

I hope and pray things work out for you.

Dawn~Thank you for caring. Try as we might
we just have to wait for things to calm down for a little while and hope that everything will be okay.
I tried the e mail thing also but no reply.
Best wishes to you & hope things turn out good for you...Paul

Paul,
Don't know if the little girl is your daughter. But I do know that I went through that with mine. Turned out to be a big bump in the road. Peace and courage to you.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Paul

Love takes some bumpy roads sometimes...and anger can fly like the wind...tear, and then be gone.  This hurts to read as I understand this painful feeling...and wish you peace and love in the future.

Paul, as I read this over again on the back pages, I decided
to reply again. I found in your response to Larry's reply
that you were speaking of your daughter in the poem.
It really reached home then, because I'm going through
the same thing with my only child. Because of
circumstances I won't go into right now, we haven't seen
each other for many years. She left home before she was
twenty years old and got married not long afterwards.
I recently found her through the internet and we have
spoken on the phone and through the internet. We live
thousands of miles apart and neither of us can afford to travel
the distance to see each other face to face. She says that
she wants us to have a Mother-daughter relationship like
before, but hardly ever returns e-mails or phone calls.
I am trying very hard, just as you are, to keep the
hope and faith that God will work out all these things
that came between me and her. The events that took
place had nothing to do with my daughter and myself. Other
persons were the ones who caused all the misunderstandings
between me and her.
Paul, I didn't mean to say all this, but I just wanted you
to know that I understand a little of what you're feeling.
I wrote a poem last week about me and my daughter, but
I haven't gotten the nerve to post it yet.
The holidays are really hard, aren't they?

Ethel~ Thank you so much for the lovely reply. I hope everything works out between you & your daughter. Holidays will be real hard to deal with this year, but hopefully they will get better.

If you think it will help I encourage you to either post or send the poem you wrote about your daughter to her, words shared can mean so much when relationships are strained.

Again Thank You for the lovely caring reply...Paul
