If I had my life to do over,
I'd have chosen you to be my dad once more.
Even if that ment losing you again,
It's worth all the tears in the world.
You were my sunshine when the skies were gray.
I loved you and honored you,
You took all my tears away.
I was happy to be with you,
Pround to be your little girl.
Sometimes we would argue,
But to me you ment the world.
Your love was always pure,
you treated me as your own.
Your time seemed all to short and
I feel so alone.
What can i take from this?
My heart is completely crushed,
But nothing loved is ever lost.
And you are loved so much

Oh I haven't posted or replied in a while and I'm glad that this was the first one I read. I am smiling through unshed tears right now. This piece was beautiful. Full of emotion and voice simple yet elegant at the same time, truly lovely. I am deeply sorry for your heartache and your loss, but what you said in your poem is very true someone is never gone who lives in our hearts and our memories.
