the sun rises once again
laying in my room
that night again wasted
contemplating my emending doom

the birds sing there sweet song
a death roll to my ear
and with each inch of the rising sun
so rises my fear

I have but one thing to ask
before I here my final call
just one person, anyone
remember I went out standing tall

even though I have my feat
following right by my side
at least it was someone, something
that held on for the hole ride

so now I take it all
My past, My present, My kind,
trash it for one more chance
so there maybe happiness for me the find.

when you live you begin to die
when you die memories of you life lives in others
when memories of you begin to fade
you truly begin to die
