gasping for breath
grasping for purchase
grabbing in anguish
stabbing to vanquish
shaming to exalt
blaming to fault
sweetening with salt
running to halt
not looking to gawk
timidly playing hawk
wolfishly playing sheep
fighting to sleep
losing to keep
laughing to weep
rallying for peace
protesting for war
abstaining from virginity
feminine virility
potent sterility
distant familiarity
life of such disparity
this is my generation

I liked this one, so sad and so true.
Great job, thanks for sharing.

Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.
