my little hole in wisconsin

Something in this day
somehow draws me out
feeling my heart bleed
drowning in my doubt

questioning my sanity
feeling so lame
wanting to hate god
wanting someone to blame

wishing I could change the past
and relive that day in time
knowing that the pain won't last
wishing I had a dime

for every child I heard cry
on that solumn day
for a soul I heard die
wishing I could pray
