In The Clouds

Now is the time, here is the place.
I gave you my heart, my mind, and my soul,
Now I give you the rest of me;
The ultimate expression of love.
-
Our love runs deep,
Flowing like the blood in our veins.
Our hearts are one and the same,
Beating together with the union of our love.
-
Your hands, wound in my hair,
Your eyes, getting lost in mine,
Your lips, taunting me, teasing me,
Leading me into erotic bliss.
-
We're free to love as we please,
Together our love is unbridled.
The anticipation grows stronger, the end coming near;
The hill is no longer a mountain.
-
Finally we reach the top,
a thousand fireworks going off at once.
It's so powerful, so moving.
It's like a volcano blowing its top.
-
But when the explosions are done
And movement has subsided,
We lay together, calm and serene,
Wanting only Eternity.

Good work! This was GREAT! The imagery I saw in my mind near the end was...indescribable. Thanks for the read! ~Jess

This is great.  Really good.  Its metaphors for the growth of love are amazing and again, great imagery!
