I'm back from training every one, empty handed though, I was medicly discharged with 3 weeks left in training.  I wrote allot while I was there and I figured I would share with yall.  Hope you like!!

-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

If my bulkheads could speak
The stories they could tell you
Of the pain and struggles
Would last you a life time

My grounds outside
From the feared pit
To the hallowed Crucible site
Have seen the strongest break

Here I have seen all kinds of tears
Tears of pain from a harsh PT session
When muscles are so sore and cramped
They burn and ache as if on fire

I have seen tears of sheer exahstion
When the punishment is so intense
From even the smallest wrong doing
That they break down compleatly

I have seen tears of loneliness
When the kids here miss there families so
That even just a one page letter
Sends the tears flowing in rivers

I have also seen tears of happiness
When the time of graduation finally comes
The fresh graduates are so happy
Even the honor grads give way to tears

I am known as one of the harshest places to be
And even though I hold this title
I will continue to see what I see
Continue to make what I make

They will never seace to come in
Group after group of young boys and girls
All hungry for a dream or just a better life
That they know only I can give them

No matter who they are or there strength
I will eventually break them down
Even if they only break but once
The tears will come while I have them

This is the power I hold
Once their feet touch my foot prints
They belong to me and me alone
They will remain here until I am done with them

I take them from their families
Deprive them of every day comforts
I break down their bodies
I make them into nothing during there stay

When I release them is when you see my work
How I have made them more adaptable
Made them stronger than ever
Transformed them into everything they ever wanted

So am I good or am I evil?
The answers vary
Some leave hating me
Others love me for what I did

No matter what the answer is
I will never close my gates
I will continue to give what America wants
I will always give them America's Marines

-----For the record, I love that place!!

Read my work and read my thoughts
I'll go back into the night now
---Night Angel

I love this an awful lot.  It's really good and truthful and...is that what it's really like?  Truthfully...?

I am the one, the only, Blue~Phoenix.  That is who I am now and forever shall be from this point forward.

Having done my own tour in Hell... uh... I mean Parris Island... I can completely agree with every word of this. It is one of the best writes I've seen to come out of the Teen Forum. Semper Fi.
BTW- Will you be able to rehabilitate and re-do your time?

Yes teen, Ringo can acount as well, that is how it's like, but really all you have to do is say your going to do it.  I was actually enjoing it before they pulled me.

Ringo-they said I could come back in two years so long as I show I'm fixed.  Right now I don't know if I will but by that time I'm sure I'll want to.  Semper Fi!!
