Day After Day, Page After Page

The day you're born,
Is the day your book of life begins.
With the first breath you take,
The first sentence is started.

As you go on in life,
The pages begin to increase in amount,
The book starts to become longer.

Each event,
Each daily routime just adds to the novel.
And each person,
Depending how big of a part they play in your life,
Has a spot reserved for them in your book.

Whether it be a sentence or a paragraph,
Or perhaps even a chapter,
There is always some type of impact that they have made upon you.

And as life goes on,
The events and happenings in your book become more dull,
More calm.

Then, the book starts to collect dust.

And before you know it,
What started out as a few pages,
Becomes an entire series.

Not of any particular interest or reasoning to anyone special.

But it doesn't really matter who reads it,
The important thing is,
It's there.

I liked it a lot! It's very true, how life is like a story...unless it's supposed to mean something else, then I dunno. Either way I really liked it

i liked this alot...its very true how life is a story. Life is as exciting as you make it and you cant wait for someone to bring your life to you or your book will get dusty!

I read this poem when I was over last week...loved it! I especially like the very last stanza...don't ask me why. Great job hun. Keep up all this good work!
