You Let Me Down

I turned you down,
That's how it all started,
Why?...you asked
And I told you....
I was scared
Scared of getting attached
Only to lose you while I was gone
I thought you understood
At least...you said you did
You said everything was "cool"
Gave me a hug
And told me you'd call
Yet,
you never did
I guess those things
Were your ways of saying
"I'm through with you"
All because I turned you down

Well guess what
You let me down
I trusted you
Told you things only a few know
Because you promised you could be trusted
But when that trust came to a test
You failed
Because you cared more about "doing" me than my feelings
I can't believe it
I thought you were different
But I guess not
Since that last hug goodbye
Was the last of us
And you

*hatred is a guy, buy hatred says all guys are dogs. this might seem weird because hatred is a guy, but sometimes the truth just has to come out.*

I have been there, its hard. this was a great poem lots of feeling.
