"I'm Different" All black Outcasted Too weird Untrusted kinda Feared by some Misunderstood in too many ways Am I all that different? Am I not human? If I'm cut, will I bleed? You're a freak You're a weirdo You're a psycho Am I all of these things? Do you have proof? Or is it just you? Passing judgment without knowledge Taking one look, and disregarding Feeling superior Seeing is believing But feeling isn't anything at all To you Why did you taunt? Why did you name-call? Why can't you see what you're doing to me? Maybe I'm the one who's right Maybe I'm not so crazy Maybe everything will be just fine I'll be the one who succeeds in life I'll be the one who's there for the little guy I'll never be left behind I'm real You're fake Following everyone else Do you ever use your mind? Do you ever make a decision? Do you ever just listen to yourself? So what if I'm different from you? Is that a crime? Why can't you just be satisfied? Just look at me See what's there Not what you wanna see ~ Tenshi |

just how many times i wish i had the guts to say what that one poem just did. and how many times ive wished i didnt feel just like that. at least im not alone, thanks for a good read. its not quite regular in meter or rhyme, but its really good, and i dont think that takes away from any of the greatness of it. good job bruised.  ~*Alnilam*~ |
