Best Wishes,

Brian.

Standing in his old army uniform,
With stribes on his arms and stars on his chest.
Looks in the mirror with pride on his face,
Says; "Brian. your life's been quite a quest."
But the wrinkles tells it's time to relax,
Sit back, enjoy those ancient memories.
So, old man Jenkin's, well, he sure was right,
Now I've lived to see most of his stories...

Well, What do you know, he still hangs on my wall,
From left; Jenkin's, Dekota and then me.
Was the last night we'd all be together,
It takes me in like virtual reality.
Jenkin's furneral was a king worthy,
Though only me and Dekota showed up,
'cause his wife Mary Jane died some years 'for.
Still he lived 'till the day his heart said stop...

Jenkin's hold your hand over me,
For I can't go, I'm not ready.
Please, tell God I need more time,
If you're listening give me a sign.
"Grandpa'" Jenkin's, won't you please try?
One more thing, tell Dekota hi!

Old man, old man Jenkin's hear my cry,
Old man Jenkin's hear my...cry....

Edddie's got a poster with my name on
"Old man Brian, the pianoman live"
I'm still playing Dwight Jenkins tunes down there
Performing in joints like that's such a hive
Tough the tunes don't change the crowd always do
Each time I step in I'm like norm in cheers
Everyone knows the glasses and grey hair
And it's been like that for fortyfive years

Jenkin's hold your hand over me,
For I can't go, I'm not ready.
Please, tell God I need more time,
If you're listening give me a sign.
"Grandpa'" Jenkin's, won't you please try?
One more thing, tell Dekota hi!

Old man, old man Jenkin's hear my cry,
Old man Jenkin's hear my...cry....

Been told I bring hope, smiles and light,
Ways out of the darkest of nights.
If you can't help I understand,
It's just that,
Every bar needs a music man...

This is cool. Sorry this is such a boring reply. I do like this though.
