what if nothings true
what if no one cares
and the only fact is
no one is there
through the distance
but in your eyes
you feel your hope
and you feel it rise
but not for too long
for then it dies
then you know youll
start to cry

and what of the one
the one you wait for
the hopes of finding
someone
things you pray for
what if they have
a life too
and they cant throw
themselves away for you
what if what you need
isnt true
what if nothing can keep
you glued
and your pieces just fall
apart
and the worse pain is
self fulfilling
because your
expecting someone
to fix your
dependent heart

what if they want someone to share
a life with
and not a mess to clean
a mess like your life
is
its pathetic to dream
to be lifeless
but to live your life
is still so pointless
maybe theres nothing
but what you know
and maybe you should
learn to live with it
and start letting go
maybe its time to figure
out how to cope
with yourself

and it feels so alarming
to not sit around and
wait for some prince charming
maybe if you get yourself together first
maybe things will be better
and not worse
no one wants to clean a mess
they didnt make
and sweep up dirt
from problems you create
its your life
its your dirt
so get yourself together
and maybe you wont hurt

(irrelevent to you J.H., just felt inspired but then again i guess everything at this point holds relevence to you... like almost getting in car accidents because my mind is somewhere else... damn you... i will have vengence for your actions)

Okay, first of all, I don't know you. I've never seen you before, I've never seen any of your poetry before, and I have no CLUE who J.H. is.

So hi. I'm Laura, I'm seventeen, I have a reputation for writing love gone wrong poetry. It's nice to meet you.

As for the poem... I don't reply to things I don't like. So I must like it. And I do. You're a truly talented writer... I don't know that I've ever seen someone who's so comfortable with rhythm.

It flows beautifully... and... I just love it.

Can't wait to see more of your work.
