collective soul of humanity

Brilliance
Stunningly beautiful
emanating from every pore
every neuron
dancing, floating, twirling
fingers over ivory
notes melting, mixing, twining
together in passionate embraces
of sound
a crescendo, then softly falling
drowning in the depths of your eyes
to revisit you luminous soul
and I wonder,
does genius ever sleep?

Genius is like a waterfall....sometimes ice can block it for a while, but still it flows and flows.....

And you show just that with this poem -- an excellent first entry, or hundreth entry.

Welcome to piptalk.

First let me say that I don't like free verse. At all. I don't like writing it, I don't like reading it... it's just not my thing.

And I loved your poem. It's absolutely beautiful... the words, the imagery, the... everything.

I look forward to reading more.
