look ahead, not behind
thats what they always tell you
I look ahead and see nothing
no future is in store for me
I have nothing to look forward to
the only thing I wanted was you.
But, now you are left behind
I can't think about you anymore
because you are in my past.
If I take time to believe what they tell me
that the man of my dreams is just up ahead
then I will keep on going forth
When I find him we will have a future
no more yelling, no more hurt
this love will not be based on what base you can get to
it'll be based on our god honest feelings for eachother.
My head now held high
because, now I don't care about you
now I have something to look forward to

-claps- GO MALLOREE! hehe I liked this, Mal... Is this still invloving that -cough- same guy as it has been? Like I said, you don't need him and you can do much better, you need to be respected n' loved. Well, thanks for posting.
