I miss you so very much
I'm not sure what to do
I think of every word you've said
every move you've made
the hurtful ways you treated me
though smiling was all I could do
never wanting to be mad at you
just loving you is all I could do
your stuck in my head
the thought of you not with me
it makes me weak inside
each day the obstacle of forgetting our past
becomes a larger one
when time is not an issue
I lay down thinkng of you
wondering what to do
desperatly trying to find a replacment
for the gaping hole in my soul
losing my train of thought
it all becomes a daze
my eyes becoming heavy
the way I tend to be
as sleep creeps over me...

First off, welcome to Passions! It's great to have you here with us sharing your work and insights I really liked this piece, as I can relate to the feelings expressed in it so well. One thing I learned from it is: Look to yourself for completeness not to others, it is all within you. Love should never be a need, always a gift.
Anyway thanks for sharing I like muchly

Welcome to Passions!

You put a lot into this, Cassandra. I think many of us have been in that position before... talk to us, and you could hear great stories of heartbreak and triumph. Fortunately, there is always a fairy tale ending. Be patient, and the one you deserve will come on his horse to swift you away... until then, learn to love yourself. You can love no one until you know yourself and love yourself inside and out.

Good luck... I liked this poem, it was a wonderful read. I am really looking forward to more And again - welcome!

lingering thoughts-

One way to fill that void is to eat chocolate. Unfortunately, chocolate causes holes in your teeth, and if you're not careful, your mouth will be void of teeth.

Many of us have gone what you've gone through, and it's all very normal. The only problem is that it is difficult to get through, but *states without trying to be cheesy* what doesn't kill us will only make us stronger. Time hurts though. Die time. Die.

Keep up the writing, and Welcome To PIPTALK! Yay!!!
