Sometimes I try to remember what to say,
sometimes I try to keep it that way.
Sometimes I trusted you to well,
sometimes I believe you led me into hell.

(Chorus)
Don't say that now you want me back,
cause thats all over, just give me myself back,
and go away.
Forget all the memories we had, it's in the past,
forget all the possibilities you could of had, it won't last.

Sometimes I pretend that I am blind
sometimes I say I have nothing on my mind.
Sometimes I feel like you took the easy way out,
sometimes I feel lost, I cannot live without.

Don't say that now you want me back,
cause thats all over, just give me myself back,
and go away.
Forget all the memories we had, it's in the past,
forget all the possibilities you could of had, it won't last.

I don't need her anymore, I don't need to be ignored,
I don't need her anymore, nothing to gain, I don't need the pain.
I don't need her anymore, I don't need another day, being pushed away.
With no apologies I say, it's time for me to break away.

Don't say that now you want me back,
cause thats all over, just give me myself back,
and go away.
Forget all the memories we had, it's in the past,
forget all the possibilities you could of had, it won't last.
It's done, leave me alone, it's your time to be on your own.

There's a lot going on in this poem....I read it the first time when the little folder next to it was still red, but left replying til I could think of something worthwhile to say! But hey, probably still won't be Well, sometimes the rhythm seemed a bit iffy, but as it seems to be in the style of a song, perhaps hearing it to music would clear that up! Actually your poem/song made me think of this quote: "It's ok to let yourself go, as long as you can get yourself back again". Something to that effect, I read it somewhere once. Anyway, I better stop rambling, but just to say I enjoyed this and thanks for sharing

I see you are fairly new to the forums. I wanted to let you know it is against the guidelines you agreed to, to post the same poem/song in two forums at the same time, unless one is critical analysis. SO with that stated, I'm closing this one, as the one in Open had more replies, one of which was mine
