My life is skipping around Skipping out from under me Throwing me from side to side Not helping with me sanity Lashing my harms With scares almost gone I’m hopping to settle down I’m hopping it won't be long I’m waiting for my work to pay off To give me a place to put my feet I’m hopping depression doesn't come again So that I can finally make a seat |

Okay... *looks for your name* ...Matt. Hi, nice to meet you. I really like your poem... however, I'm a perfectionist (sometimes annoyingly so), and so I'm REALLY distracted by all the spelling mistakes. Also, I don't know quite what you were aiming for here, but it almost seems that you're saying "Yep, so I'm depressed. Yeah, I'm self-destructive and I hate life." in this sort of casual way. Forgive me if I'm misreading... that's just the general impression I'm getting from it. Hope things get better for ya soon.  -Lioness |

This is an interesting view at depression. I, myself, have gone through those waves where it is calm, and then it crests... and all you can do is sit and hope it's over soon.
