When people see me,
what do they imagine my life to be?
Do they see the pain l live with every day,
when life becomes too much, too heavy?
Do they care, when hidden tears leak out of my eyes,
as life overwhelms,
and responsibility becomes too much?
lf family knew of my differences,
they wouldn't understand,
but l've never given them the chance to try;
am l being cruel, denying us both freedom,
or is it reality l face,
everytime l cry hidden tears?
lt's a depressing thought to wonder
if you're unhappy because you want to be unhappy,
but only with truth comes freedom,
so l'll face these depressing thoughts
and wonder if l'll ever be free.
As a depressing thought,
or a depressing image of death,
emerges in my mind,
l'll wonder if my life is to end,
and imagine the way, and realize it's not my option,
as images of pain on another's face shows me
the result of a careless action.
When depressing ideas shadow me,
l'll ignore the temptation,
and remember the good times,
but only if there are good times to remember.
Am l destined to have love,
happiness in the future,
when life is different than it is now,
when thepain of living unwanted in a house of anger
is no longer my solitary companion?
When people see me, do they witness the strength
that is my constant silent companion,
when life becomes too much
and temptation overwhelms?
l know life can never be perfect,
but l'll always hope,
or pray to a god l don't believe in,
that freedom is my gift to myself,
in the for of death or the brilliance of life.

this poem made me stop and think this morning.  there is a lot to say. depressions overwheliming to anyone the trick is not to dewll on it, but to deal with it and the final way out is never the answer. just remember that after you have fun it's not a hard thing to move from it moves on its own. depression is something you have to move though in your life.  i hope you many happy days in your life and keep writing it's good and good for you

thanx. l hope so, cause it's about all l can do - l'm falling apart at the edges, and there doesn't seem to be any way out, or any way to stop it.
thanx. was that whining? sorry if it was, really... well, depressed right now.
