Standing In Silence...

I've been alone all these years,
No one there for me.
Blinded by so many regrets,
Never to be free...

Darkness descends upon my eyes,
I have to be dreaming,
for only I can see my agony,
and in my dream I'm screaming...

And in my dream, I walk away,
with so much pain left inside.
While in reality there's nothing left,
except my shame, that I must hide...

If You Wanna See A Rainbow, You've Gotta Live Through The Rain. And If You Wanna See Through Love, You've Gotta Live Through The Pain.

Another deep poem. I like the way this is done, to show the dark side of human beings.
