A little place inside my head

Life has always started with the Earth. Beautiful and dangerous, it is the jewel of life. But I digress. I've decided to write a series of haikus based on each of the elements: Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind.
=========

Shimmering small dot,
In the vast, bleak, black expanse,
Envied by great gods.

Loving mother, life,
Worth more than all the bright stars,
Sustaining people.

Surface is more plain,
But it is ethereal,
To those that see it.

^~^If we cannot live so as to be happy, let us least live so as to deserve it.~*~

This also deserves a bump... I can't believe this sunk with not even one reply. Wonderful work... the way you captured the nature aspect of a haiku was awesome.

Very nice job... Thanks for the read
