wow! These past couple of weeks have been crazy! Have I mentioned lately how much I hate april? Anyways I got away from the whole break up poem thing for a while but I have a new one..sigh.. I'm getting better but last night was a hard night for me so I wrote this one Listen, can you hear it? The sounds of the city as the people sleep If you listen close you can hear a heart beat and see the tears the city weeps Each street and dark alley has it's own story to tell some are stories of great love and courage Others are stories of hell The street I live on will cry tears From now untill the end of time My street didn't whitness some great warrior battle Or whitness some gruesome crime It whitnessed the pain and heart ache Of a once true love, lost! It saw the price that man would pay for true love And wondered why it would pay the cost I'm sure if the street could speak it would ask why a man brings himself such pain The only answer I could give... I have nothing to lose..and everything to gain But if I think about it There would be a question from me to you why, why did you hurt leave me and hurt me? What was it, what did I do? Always strive for excellence never perfection. |
