     "And Still"

                    The sunshine becomes blocked by the clouds,
                    but its still there,
                    like a soul hidden,
                    by a mask of flesh.

                    And still..

                    Love lays deep,
                    in the pit of this soul,
                    like rain,
                    deep in the earth.
                    stored for life to grow from.

                    And still..

                    Life shares many things,
                    like souls share feelings.
                    The clouds move away slowly,
                    releasing the suns rays,
                    like souls releasing their love, slowly,

                    And still..

                    Saving some deep within,
                    to cover,
                    someday,
                    once again.

Tis better to have loved and lost, then to have never loved at all...

Glad to see you took my advice to post. I always enjoy reading your poems. I particulary liked this one and hope it makes it in the book. You have my vote.
