Blind Love

The dry air of summer's night.
A dimly moonlight street.
Gentle joys of vulnerable hearts
in need of passions heat.
The hearts of gold in desparate search...
my heart is of that kind...
needing air of summer's night-
always beating blind.
Wasted kisses on all of those
who came to no avail.
Their love was wrong in leaving me
upon the midnight hail.
I search again in no direction,
blind to where I go.
Stopping not to see true love,
for that I do not know.

Jeremy D. Halstead

Keep in mind, I wrote this 6 years ago, I was barely 17... I learned a bunch since then. Love ya'll.

Be it in the truest form, or a desperate lack thereof, fail not to understand that the inspiration is love.

The first line paints the picture perfectly from the start.
Very descriptive poem. I like this one alot.
Well done.

Blind love is the best type of love there is.

Whether it be in your teens or twenties or thirties, we are always learning the new joys and horrors that love can bring. And I believe that love truley is blind it doesn't stop to look before picking the person it just does then it sits back and watches what happens..in a little bit of a philisophical mood tonight sorry! Well written, 17 or Not!! Beautifully painted picture and well used emtion
