If I could change myself for the better then I would

If I could see past the negative then I would try

if I could let go and forgive then maybe I would live a happier life

If I could make the world a better place by being here then I would do my part

If I could only figure out the reason for my life then maybe I could ease my suffering

If I wasn't me then maybe I wouldn't be so negative

Hmm...This is a very interesting idea for a poem. The way you worded this was very unique, and I must say I enjoyed reading this!
